About the job:

  • The Aged Care Services is based in Taree, with a secondary office in Forster, and provides community service to the elderly people of the Lower Mid North Coast area.
  • This position is part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team in the Manning/Great Lakes area working alongside a supportive Administrative Team, skilled Clinicians and Aged Care management team.
  • The successful candidate will provide administrative support to Aged Care Services, in particular, the Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP) team. You will be required to assist in providing administration support to the multi-disciplinary team, including but not limited to, answering and directing phone calls, scanning and uploading of documents to internal systems, administrative support for clinicians, reporting and reconciling of patient data across various sources and any other general administration duties required on a day-to-day basis.
  • In this role you will be supported and trained by current Level 2 and Level 3 Administration Officers, who will actively encourage your growth to independence in the role.

Requirements:
Our successful candidate will possess the following:

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled administration person who can bring experience and initiative to the role.
  • You will need to be able to work autonomously and possess good organisational and interpersonal skills and have an eye for detail. You will want to participate as a positive contributor to the TACP team.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and organise work activities to achieve work outcomes.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail with a very high level of accuracy when working with a range of computer systems and processes.
