Job Description
- Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
- Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels.
- Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
- Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
- Tracking and fixing shipping errors
- Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards
- Developing transportation processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized
- Coordinating Sterilization Truck Loads
- Developing a Receiving and Shipping Schedule for Vendors and Transportation providers
- Planning sterilization workload delivery schedule to maintain flow of product and reduce the risk of backlog of containers waiting in line
- Work with Transportation providers to reduce cost, to quote services and provide alternative solutions to ensure capacity for the site to ship product
- Coordinates with Shipping Manufacturing Warehouse, Shipping from the HUB, Import Export, Production, Transportation providers and external sterilization vendors
- Provides support to warehouse, purchasing, and 3PL for inventory management.
