Job Description

In order to be able to supply our customers across Europe quickly and in accordance with our quality standards, our European Fulfillment (FC) centers are an integral part of the Zooplus network. Zooplus is operating 11 FCs in all parts of Europe via Logistics Service Providers and launching every year new FCs. The Invoice Inspection team in Tilburg is part of the accounting department (headquarter in Munich) and supports our fast growing business with the review and release of supplier & transportation invoices. To strengthen our team in Tilburg we are looking for a new colleague who is able to learn multiple different processes in an efficient way and is able to shift smoothly between them.

Invoice Inspector (all genders)

Main tasks

• Responsibility for the invoice inspection of inbound, outbound and transportation invoices
• Review incoming invoices of our regular and container suppliers from all over the world
• Initiate a claim/complaint in case of differences identified between invoice and delivery note (i.e. price differences, shortages, damaged articles)
• Direct contact with our English-speaking suppliers
• Maintain contact to our Purchasing, Replenishment, Logistics and Accounting department
• Support with the upcoming automation developments in invoice control
• Support central teams with month-, quarter- and year end close as well as data input and analysis

Qualifications

• Completed degree (MBO), preferably in Finance or Business
• Ideally 2-3 years relevant working experience in similar position, preferably in international commerce business
• Strong numeracy skills and a precise, pro-active work style
• Strength in communications and strong sense of responsibility
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with MS office and communications media
• Experience with SAP is an advantage
• Good written and spoken English as well as Dutch is a must. German is an advantage
