Applications are open for the position of Coordinator of Supports based in our Port Macquarie office.


About the Role:

As a Coordinator of Supports with Kirinari you will work proactively with participants by coordinating and engaging supports to ensure they are getting the most out of their NDIS plans. This position gives you the opportunity to build strong relationships with participants, their families and carers in coordinating their NDIS plans. You will identify, connect and negotiate with appropriate providers to deliver quality and timely service whilst working closely with other external stakeholders involved in an individual’s care or provision of services.


This position is permanent, Full-Time OR Part-Time min 30hrs per fortnight.


  • Support and empower participants to understand, implement and review supports funded and delivered in their NDIS plans
  • Provide a proactive and person centered approach to customer and stakeholder support and engagement
  • Assess the support needs and maximise the choice and independence of customers through provision of independent, subject matter expert advice
  • Understand and recognise the different types of supports and funding that may be required to assist individual customers
  • Provide support in a manner that recognises customers physical, emotional and intellectual capacities as well as their right to Choice and Control, as well as Dignity of Risk


About You:

  • Experience in Case Management or Support Coordination
  • Experience in a role working with the NDIS
  • A qualification in Human Services or a related field is highly desirable
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills with a high level administration skill.
  • Ability to understand facets of the NDIS and NDIS Plans/Budgets
  • Proven ability to work independently, unsupervised and as part of a team
  • Sound computer skills and the ability to adapt to new software applications
  • Current Driver's License
  • NSW Working With Children Check before commencement
  • Ability to obtain a NDIS Workers Check
